The Rotary Club of Texas City is excited to announce the 8th Annual Mardi Gras Mainland Gala “HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD” masked event for 2018.  The spectacular event is set for January 27, 2018, at the Doyle Convention Center in Texas City.  There will also be a Fun Run and Parade again this year.  You can check out all the details for the three events on the website www.mardigrasmainland.com.
 
The proceeds from the Gala will help provide funding for the many community and international projects and programs Rotary provides and/or has provided such as the Rotary Pavilion, Rotary Fitness Trail and updates to the Trail, Shoal Point Lighthouse and Layettes for Nicaragua.  Rotary also supports educational projects and programs for Texas City ISD.
 
New this year we have added a “Royal Court” which includes nominees from our Galveston County Rotary Clubs which include Galveston, The Mainland, Friendswood, Dickinson, League City and Texas City..  The King and Queen will be crowned at the Gala.  If you so choose, you can wear your favorite Mardi Gras mask to add a festive touch to the evening. 
 
The Gala will begin at 7 p.m. with a steak and shrimp dinner catered by Joe’s BBQ, open bar, silent and live auctions and continuous music throughout the evening from “The Lineup” a local premier band. 
 
OSCAR LEVEL - $5000
  • 3 Premium Reserved Tables (24 tickets) each with a complimentary bottle of wine

    KING LEVEL - $2,500
  • 2 Premium Reserved Tables (16 tickets) each with a complimentary bottle of wine

    EMMY LEVEL - $1,000
  • 1 Premium Reserved Table (8 tickets)

    QUEEN LEVEL - $500
  • Four Reserved Seating Tickets (half table)

    GOLDEN GLOBE LEVEL - $250
  • Two Reserved Seating Tickets
